MARK HORTON, DILLON TRANSPORT
Well, the driver is approaching a turn and he sees this van start to come in his lane. So, he makes an evasive move to get out of the way. Well, in the meantime, he sees her texting and she’s running 55 or 60 miles an hour and never looks up. So, she winds up making contact with the left front steer wheel, which breaks the tie rod in and several other components on her van. So, she continues just to bounce off the rear drive of the truck itself, off the tires, and then the next time it veers her towards the middle of the trailer - just past the middle of the trailer. At that point, it ran all the way up to the windshield post on the van and the skirt actually kept her from going completely under the trailer.
